सलीम अली (1896 - 1987)
सलीम अली अपने समय के महान प्रकृतिवादी रहे हैं. पक्षीविज्ञान को विकसित करने में इनका अहम योगदान रहा है. इनके इसी योगदान के लिए इन्‍हें 'Birdman of India' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. पक्षीविज्ञान को लेकर सलीम ने कई तरह की खोज भी की हैं.

श्रीनिवास रामानुजन् (1887 - 1920)
श्रीनिवास रामानुजन् एक महान भारतीय गणितज्ञ थे. इन्हें आधुनिक काल के महानतम गणित विचारकों में गिना जाता है. इन्हें गणित में कोई विशेष प्रशिक्षण नहीं मिला, फिर भी इन्होंने विश्लेषण और संख्या सिद्धांत के क्षेत्रों में गहन योगदान दिए.

चन्द्रशेखर वेंकट रामन (1888 - 1970)
चन्द्रशेखर वेंकट रामन भारतीय भौतिक-शास्त्री थे. प्रकाश के प्रकीर्णन पर बेहतरीन कार्य के लिये वर्ष 1930 में उन्हें भौतिकी का प्रतिष्ठित नोबेल पुरस्कार दिया गया. उनका आविष्कार उनके ही नाम पर रामन प्रभाव के नाम से जाना जाता है.

होमी जहांगीर भाभा (1909 - 1966)
होमी जहांगीर भाभा भारत के एक प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक और स्वप्नदृष्टा थे. इन्‍होंने भारत के परमाणु ऊर्जा कार्यक्रम की कल्पना की थी. उन्होने मुट्ठी भर वैज्ञानिकों की मदद से मार्च 1944 में नाभिकीय ऊर्जा पर अनुसंधान की शुरुआत की.

जगदीश चन्द्र बसु (1858 - 1937)
डॉ. जगदीश चन्द्र बसु भारत के प्रसिद्ध वैज्ञानिक थे. इन्‍हें भौतिकी, जीवविज्ञान, वनस्पति विज्ञान और पुरातत्व का गहरा ज्ञान था. वे ऐसे पहले वैज्ञानिक थे जिन्होंने रेडियो और सूक्ष्म तरंगों की प्रकाशिकी पर काम किया.

सत्येन्द्रनाथ बोस (1894 - 1974)
सत्येन्द्रनाथ बोस भारतीय गणितज्ञ और भौतिक शास्त्री हैं. भौतिक शास्त्र में दो प्रकार के अणु माने जाते हैं - बोसान और फर्मियान. इनमे से बोसान सत्येन्द्र नाथ बोस के नाम पर ही हैं.

अब्दुल कलाम (15 अक्‍टूबर 1931)
